A husband who doesn't come home until late at night, a cold marital life... To become independent, Shinase starts attending evening classes to obtain qualifications. Although it's an evening class, her classmates are all young, and she struggles to adapt to school life after so many years. One day, on the train home from school, Shinase ends up with Hajime from her class. Feeling a kinship with Hajime, who is older than the other students and also struggling to fit in at school, Shinase finds herself spending more time with him—at school, in the library, on the train...
